Frank Lampard is back at Chelsea but only as a temporary solution as he’s been made the caretaker manager until the club find a permanent replacement.
The former Everton boss was confirmed as the Chelsea caretaker manager today.
But, it didn’t stop Frank Lampard feeling waves of excitement as he returns to his beloved club where he spent most of his playing career and also as a manager from 2019-2021.
In his first press conference back at the club, he couldn’t help but raise a cheeky grin every few seconds.
Chelsea fans will be excited to see that level of passion as they feel it’s been missing for a while.
