Frank Lampard has officially been confirmed as the new Chelsea caretaker manager, the deal is to the end of the season.

The two main candidates are Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique who has been in London to discuss a potential deal.
There is also talk of Antonio Conte returning to Stamford Bridge after his recent dismissal from Spurs.
The former Chelsea manager was in charge of the club from 2019-2021 where he ended up facing the sack after a poor run of results.
The 44-year-old has most recently managed Everton where he guided them to safety in his first season in charge but he was soon to face the sack at the start of this season.

Former teammate and Champions League winner will be Lampard’s assistant manager with Paul Clement also part of the backroom staff.
