Watford manager Chris Wilder set to be SACKED after just 36 days in charge

Football Insider’s recent report has created quite a stir among Watford fans as they claim that the club is planning to make “wholesale changes” ahead of the next season.

Among these changes, the report suggests that current manager Chris Wilder will lose his job at Vicarage Road after just over a month in the job.

Wilder, 55, took over the managerial reins at Watford on March 7th, 2023. He came to the club with a strong track record of success, having led Sheffield United to promotion in recent years and finishing a solid 9th in their first Premier League campaign after promotion.

However, his tenure at Watford appears to have been cut short, as the report suggests that he will be shown the door soon.

Watford’s disappointing performance this season is likely to be the main reason behind the club’s plans for wholesale changes.

After being relegated from the Premier League last season, The Hornets have struggled in the Championship, where they are currently 12th in the table.

Such a performance is well below the club’s expectations, and it appears that they are now taking decisive action to address the situation.

The report also suggests that Watford has already begun looking for Wilder’s replacement, with Italian manager Francesco Farioli being one of the top candidates on their list.

Farioli has an impressive CV, having managed top clubs in Italy and Spain, and is known for his tactical acumen and ability to get the best out of his players.
