A number of Liverpool fans blazed fireworks outside the Real Madrid team hotel at 2am this morning in a desperate attempt to distract the players ahead of their Champions League last 16 clash tonight.
Real Madrid are staying at the Innside Liverpool Hotel where they arrived on Monday morning but they were woken up last night by loud bangs from the fireworks.
A video on social media shows fireworks going off outside the nearby hotel which went on for longer than 30 seconds.

It’s not the first time Liverpool fans have pulled the same trick, they did the same in the build-up to their clash with Barcelona which they won 4-0 at Anfield back in 2019.
Tuesday’s clash will be a repeat of the 2022 Champions League final which Real Madrid won 1-0 on the night thanks to Vinicius Jr.
