The chairman of AFC Dunstable has vowed to give away the football club for FREE to someone with the right abilities and resources.
AFC Dunstable are a football club based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, only 30 miles out from London.
The club was founded in 1981 and now find themselves in the Southern League Division One Central, the 8th tier of English football where they currently lie 10th in the table on 36 points.
The club also known as the OD’s reached the 3rd qualifying round of the FA Cup in 2020, they also reached the 4th round of the FA Vase in the 2015-16 season.
Mr Bullard, who originally joined the club as a player in 1991, said he had already received a lot of interest and hoped to start talking to potential new owners in the coming weeks.
On their official club website, the club posted a vacancy for a new chairperson, they said: “the club will be gifted debt-free” to anybody that “proves they have the ability and resources to run a team/club at the level we are at.”
