Liverpool BLAME Premier League after 33-minute FLIGHT from Newcastle

Liverpool are reportedly frustrated with the Premier League after they had to fly back from Newcastle on Saturday after their win against the Magpies.

The Reds claim they were left with ‘little choice’ but to fly back to Liverpool after their victory despite it being a 33-minute flight.

The trip would have taken 3 hours via coach or car but they were not taking any risks ahead of their upcoming clash with Real Madrid this Tuesday in the Champions League.

The club has received HUGE backlash from this decision especially just weeks after Green Football Weekend, a scheme designed to help combat climate change.

According to The Mirror, Liverpool aren’t happy with the scrutiny as they feel the Premier League’s decision to schedule a 5:30pm kick-off away to Newcastle left them with no other option.
