Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has surprisingly BACKED current manager Graham Potter despite a recent run of poor results.
The blues have just won 2 of their last 14 games in all competitions and were beaten 1-0 by relegation-battling Southampton on Saturday.
The result leaves Chelsea 10th in the Premier League however Chelsea’s owners have made it clear that hiring Potter was part of a ‘long-term project’.
🚨 It's understood Graham Potter, despite the poor results, has built good relationships with the majority of his players. He is liked and viewed as firm but fair in his dealings with the senior squad.#CFC

To be fair to Potter and Chelsea, their injury list is as long as their list of losses this season.
Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Christian Pulisic, Wesley Fofana, Edouard Mendy, Denis Zakaria and Armando Broja are all OUT injured including Cesar Azpilicueta who suffered a head injury in Saturday’s game.
Potter was brought in from Brighton & Hove Albion after a successful period on the south coast but he struggled to adapt to life at Stamford Bridge despite spending nearly £600m on players across two transfer windows.
Potter signed a 5-year contract following Thomas Tuchel’s sacking at Chelsea.
How much time should Graham Potter get given to turn things around at Chelsea? Let us know!
