Chelsea OFFER Mason Mount to Atletico Madrid in SWAP deal for Joao Felix

Chelsea are desperately keen on keeping on-loan Portuguese forward Joao Felix.

According to Spanish news outlet Marca, the club is willing to offload Mason Mount as part of the deal to secure Joao Felix permanently.

The 23-year-old got off to the worst possible start on his Chelsea debut after being dismissed with a straight red, subsequently presenting him with a 3-match ban.

On his return to action, Felix scored his first Chelsea goal against West Ham and has been one of the standout players in their 1-0 defeat to Dortmund in the Champions League.

Todd Boehly has already spent over 325 million euros in January but he is willing to do more and make sure Felix remains a Chelsea player at the end of the season.

One would presume Diego Simeone and Atletico Madrid’s style of play is somewhat holding Joao Felix back as a player in his quest to become one of Europe’s elite.

Would Mason Mount regain lost form if he were to move to La Liga? Let us know!
