Rodri has been a key figure for Man City since his move from Atletico Madrid in 2019, making 125 appearances and scoring 14 goals.
Barcelona boss Xavi is a huge admirer of the 26-year-old who helped City win two Premier League titles, two League Cups and a Community Shield.
Rodri started his senior career at Villarreal B where he gained promotion to the first team before eventually leaving for Atletico Madrid in 2018.
Man City manager Pep Guardiola will do all he can to try and keep Rodri at the Premier League club but with Bernardo Silva developing cold feet at the Etihad, could Rodri be the next?
