Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp had a lot to say during his post-match interview following a 1-1 draw against title rivals Manchester City.
Liverpool went into the match needing a victory to create a FOUR point gap over their rivals whilst also climbing back to the top of the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City started off the stronger team and bagged 0-1 lead thanks to defender John Stones.
Man City’s celebrations were short lived as Liverpool were awarded a penalty, Alexis Mac Allister converted with ease.
Ederson then picked up an injury from the penalty collision which meant he was substituted with Stefan Ortega who made a few decent saves to keep the Citizens in the match.
Right at the death, Liverpool were screaming for a penalty as Jeremy Doku kicked the chest of Alexis Mac Allister but also took some of the ball.

VAR intervened but nothing was given and the game ended 1-1.
A frustrated Jurgen Klopp said he couldn’t be prouder of his teams’ performance but the penalty was ‘obvious’.
