Kalvin Phillips was certainly in a party mood as Manchester City celebrated their treble triumph – but dropped a naughty word in the excitement.
Just two days after winning the Champions League, City’s stars took to the streets of Manchester to show off their success.
Pep Guardiola’s side have now emulated a treble that had only been achieved by their rivals Manchester United in 1999.
The Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League triumphs have been added to what seems to be Manchester City’s never-ending list of accolades.
The team’s dominance throughout the season has been undeniable, and their success has been a testament to their exceptional talent and hard work.
While the entire squad played a crucial role in their triumphant campaign, one player who stood out was John Stones. The defender, who found new-found success in midfield, has been a revelation for City this season.
His performances on the field have been outstanding, contributing to the team’s solid defence and providing stability in midfield.
As thousands of ecstatic fans flocked to the streets to celebrate with the players, Kalvin Phillips showed his admiration for his teammate, John Stones. Holding two beers in his hands, Phillips took hold of the microphone on the stage and began singing Stones’ chant, “Johnny, Johnny Stones! Johnny, Johnny Stones!”
However, amidst the excitement, Phillips dropped the F-bomb when chanting.
