FREE PINT for TEN Brackley Town fans after 400-mile round trip to Scarborough

TEN Brackley Town fans made a 400-mile tiring trip to the North East coast of Scarborough and back for their National League North clash.

The fans made the trip right from Northamptonshire on a cold Tuesday night to cheer on their team as they battled out a goalless draw against the Seadogs at the Flamingo Land Stadium.

The fans who came from the Northamptonshire town were also treated to a free pint from Scarborough Athletic chairman Trevor Bull.

Brackley Town fan Guy Smith said the fans were “gobsmacked” by the gesture.

He also said: “It was really kind of the Scarborough chairman and we all really appreciate his kindness.”

Although in the photo you can only see 9 fans, the mystery 10th fan was sitting in the stands at the away end.

Scarborough Athletic, currently managed by former Manchester United midfielder Jonathan Greening, are in fifth, four points behind Brackley.

Now that is pure dedication from the Brackley fans, we love to see it!
