Tottenham AGREE £47.5 million deal for Forest’s Brennan Johnson!

Tottenham are set to land Nottingham Forest star Brennan Johnson for a £47.5 million transfer fee before the transfer window closes tonight!

Tottenham have reportedly seen both Chelsea and Brentford off in the race to secure the 22-year-old Johnson’s signature, with the club reportedly agreeing a £47.5 million transfer fee with Nottingham Forest.

It is also said that Forest are allowing the Welsh forward to travel to Tottenham today to complete a medical and allow the deal to go through in time for the transfer window closing tonight.

Johnson is reported to have been offered a 5-year deal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the chance to work with new boss Ange Postecoglou being an attractive factor in the deal for him.

Despite £47.5 million coming their way, Johnson’s departure is sure to be a big hit to Nottingham Forest, with the Welsh star playing a pivotal role in their first season back in the Premier League.

Johnson has made 91 appearances for the Reds since 2019 and has netted 24 goals for them amongst many assists.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest have signed Brazilian defender Murillo from Corinthians, as well as securing a one-year loan deal with Marseilles for Portuguese fullback Nuno Tavares.
