Sergio Aguero could make a sensational return to football over two years on from his retirement.
The Argentine striker signed for Barcelona after leaving Manchester City having spent 10 memorable years at the Etihad but his spell as Barca was cut short.
In November 2021, Aguero was forced into an early retirement at the age of 33 due to an ongoing heart problem.
According to Mundo Deportivo reports, there is chance he can come out of retirement after being told by a cardiologist.
He was recently spotted at a football match between Independiente and Racing Club in Argentina.
Former Man City striker Carlos Tevez is the current manager of Argentinian side Independiente where Sergio Aguero made his pro debut in 2003 and spent most of his youth career.
Aguero has an option to return to football and reunite with his former Man City and Argentina teammate Carlos Tevez.
