Manchester City target English duo James Maddison and Jude Bellingham

Manchester City are hoping to bring in the English duo of James Maddison from Leicester City and Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

City face stiff competition from Premier League rivals such as Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United for the signature of the Leicester City playmaker.

Man City are considering a move for the 26-year-old star

James Maddison’s £100,000 a week Leicester City contract will soon enter its final 12 months and the England midfielder is itching for a move away from the King Power Stadium.

Leicester City will be looking to fetch around £75m for the midfielder as they need to raise funds for a squad rebuild.

The Premier League champions will be looking to invest heavily in the summer after losing Joao Cancelo earlier today to Bayern Munich, Bernardo Silva looks set to leave for Barcelona and Ilkay Gundogan is set to leave on a FREE at the end of the season.

Man City hold a strong interest in Dortmund’s English midfielder Jude Bellingham, 19, who is one of the hottest properties in world football right now but his price tag will be enormous.

A major overhaul could be needed this summer at the Etihad, Jude Bellingham and James Maddison could just be the start of a long overdue spending spree.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have all spent big recently so a summer spending spree at City is highly likely.
