Chelsea’s Mason Mount who in recent weeks has been linked with a move to Liverpool could now be on the move the other side of London.
But, with fellow London rivals Arsenal said to be in talks over a deal for the English player.
Arsenal are said to be in talks with Chelsea over a deal for Mason Mount with the midfielder set to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
But Liverpool who have been linked with Mount as well could throw a spanner in the works and hijack any bid that Arsenal make.
With Jurgen Klopp looking to update his squad after a poor season that has seen the Merseyside team endure a trophyless season unless you count the Community Sheild as a trophy.
With Chelsea enduring their worst season in many years with the London Blues now on their 4th manager it’s not hard to see why Mount has turned down any offers from his current employer for a new deal.
Mount who currently is earning 80k a week is said to have asked for at least 250k a week which is a rather large increase from his current deal.
But given Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is to supposedly change the current wage structure this could mean that Mount will likely not get the offer that he has asked for therefore meaning that he would either have to leave the London club or stick to the current deal.
Newcastle and Manchester United are also on high alert for the midfielder but Bayern Munich are also looking at a possible deal as now mounts former coach Thomas Tuchel is now at the helm in Munich.
Where will Mason Mount end up at the beginning of next season? Let us know!
