According to recent reports, Mauricio Pochettino has reached a verbal agreement with Chelsea to become their new manager.
The Argentine has been out of work since leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season, but now looks set to make his return to management at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are hoping to have the appointment wrapped up by the end of the week, although current caretaker manager Frank Lampard will remain in charge until the end of the current campaign.
It seems that Pochettino will take over from Lampard ahead of the 2023-24 season.

Pochettino is a highly respected manager in the footballing world, having enjoyed great success during his five-year stint at Tottenham Hotspur but a move to their London rivals will upset a lot of Spurs fans.
He led Spurs to the Champions League final in 2019, and also helped the club establish themselves as one of the top teams in the Premier League.
His arrival at Chelsea would represent a significant coup for the Blues, who have already made three managerial changes this season.
