West Ham considering loan move for Man United defender Harry Maguire

West Ham United are considering a move for out-of-favour Manchester United defender Harry Maguire on loan for the rest of the season.

The East London club have been leaking goals this season and find themselves in the Premier League relegation zone.

This a contrast to their form last season as they managed to grab a 7th-placed finish and a successful run in the Europa League, reaching the semi-finals.

Maguire, 29, has lost his place in the United starting lineup since Erik ten Hag took charge in the summer and a move on loan could be a significant chance for the England defender to find some form.

Man United are understood to be ready to sell Harry Maguire in the summer as Erik ten Hag is looking to alter his squad.

Manchester United currently sit in 4th place in the Premier League, one point behind 2nd placed Manchester City who they beat 2-1 last Saturday.

The Red Devils face Crystal Palace tonight for a chance to close the gap to leaders Arsenal while overtaking their noisy neighbours at the same time.
