Live coverage of Wolves vs Liverpool on the BBC was interrupted by a series of ‘inappropriate’ noises – eventually found to be coming from a hidden mobile phone taped to the back of Gary Lineker & Co’s set!
The X-rated noises consistently interrupted Linkeker as he attempted to discuss the upcoming match with Paul Ince, Alan Shearer, and Danny Murphy at Molineux.
After an embarrassing 15 minutes for the pundits, the offending device (a rather outdated mobile phone) was discovered taped to the back of the BBC studio.
The obvious prank was taken in good humour by the red-faced presenters, who as usual were more than up for a laugh (even at their own expense).
Well, we found this taped to the back of the set. As sabotage goes it was quite amusing. 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/ikUhBJ38Je

THERE IS A SEX NOISE RINGTONE GOING ON IN THE #BBCFootball STUDIO FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES, AND THEY ARE ALL DOING THEIR BEST TO IGNORE IT. IT IS ONE OF THE FUNNIEST THINGS I’VE EVER SEEN #WOLLIV And the sex noise was still more tactially coherent than Danny Murphy… pic.twitter.com/pOuWOiBJFg
