Former Leeds and QPR manager Neil Warnock could be heading back to south yorkshire with former club Rotherham United looking for a new manager after Matt Taylor was dismissed after poor results.
Warnock who is no stranger to football in yorkshire had his longest spell with his hometown club Sheffield United from 1999-2007 and as well as Leeds United and Scarborough FC.
Rotherham United are hoping an appointment can be made in due course with club chairman Tony Stewart hoping the right man can keep the Millers in the championship for another season and build from there.
Neil Warnock who has managed Rotherham before in 2016 enjoyed some minor joy with the club with them avoiding relegation that season he came and enjoying a 11 game run with no defeats ensuring the millers stayed in the Championship for another season.
Warnock has also stated that keeping Rotherham up was his “Biggest Achievement”.
Chris Wilder is also said to be in the mix for the job with Wilder like Warnock being from Sheffield both men have vast experience of the game but many may be hoping for Warnock to return to South Yorkshire but Wilder could be seen as a smart move also with him being more up to date with the more modern style of football that we see in todays game.
