Jesse Lingard transfer: Spotted with ‘self obsessed’ luggage

Jesse Lingard prepares himself for a shock transfer to South Korean side FC Seoul, and fans have picked up on how his airport luggage screams self obsessed!

As many will know, Lingard began his senior career with Manchester United after coming through their academy ranks.

The English forward enjoyed loan spells at Leicester City, Birmingham City, Brighton, Derby County, and West Ham United, before making a permanent move to Nottingham Forest last year.

Sadly for the once promising young star, his time in Nottingham did not go to plan, as he struggled to earn game time or put in any convincing performances despite his Manchester United pedigree.

Jesse Lingard is set for a transfer to FC Seoul after struggling to find form with Nottingham Forest after moving from Man United last year.

All of this recently came to a head, as Jesse Lingard was announced to be making a shock transfer to South Korean side FC Seoul.

Fans of Seoul greeted their new English signing by handing him the gift of a flute, in relation to a celebration the player used where he would imitate playing a wind instrument.

However, it was on his journey to the South Korean capital that Lingard caught the eye of some not so compassionate fans.

It was the star’s luggage that captured the attention of fans, with one of his suitcases bearing images of himself in full kit, along with the title “Jlingz”.

Many fans have accused the former Premier League forward of being ‘self obsessed’, and his most recent upload via Instagram has not helped matters!

Jesse Lingard put up an image of his luggage as he prepared to fly to Seoul to complete his signing with FC Seoul, with fans calling him self obsessed due to his personal branded suitcase.

Jesse Lingard’s recent move comes off the back of failed attempts to rejoin Premier League West Ham United in training, as well as Saudi Arabian side El-Ettifiaq.

Although it was rumoured that Lingard would be making a move back to West Ham, negotiations came to a dead end, leaving him to pursue other avenues.

The former Man United forward has been without a club since leaving Nottingham Forest since the end of last season.

Despite his struggles in the English game, it has been reported that Lingard is to be paid a ‘substantial’ wage packet by the South Korean side during his initial 2-year deal with them.

This can only mean that his budget for self-branded luggage will remain consistent, and fans may see more self-promotion on his gear going forward!
