Manchester City have a fight on their hands and one that’s more intense than ever after Bayern Munich are said to be in talks with City regarding a move for their irreplaceable right back.
With Pep still classing Walker as an “important” player for the club it makes Bayern’s task of landing the defender a challenge before its even begun even when no official bid has been made yet.
“We will fight for him, like I’m pretty sure Bayern [will],” said Guardiola.
“I don’t know how it is going to finish.”
If Walker was to make the move to the German champions it would be hard to say that his time in Manchester hasn’t been a successful one with the defender’s trophy count with the Sky Blues a total of 14 trophies along with 3 goals in 165 apps for the club since joining from Tottenham in 2017.
Manchester City are coming off a fantastic season which saw the club win the FA Cup, Premier League and Champions League and some guy from Norway/Leeds scored a few goals in the process…
But now at a tender age of 33, does Kyle Walker’s phenomenal pace take a huge plummet like most speedy players at his age?
Bayern are believed to make a bid of around £13m for the Sheffield-born full-back but will Walker accept the deal to go to Bavarian capital or will he stay in sunny Manchester? Let us know!
