Mauricio Pochettino’s hilarious reaction to Tommy Fury’s unconventional throw-in at Soccer Aid

Tommy Fury had manager Mauricio Pochettino in stitches as he completely messed up a simple throw-in by doing it the opposite way.

Soccer Aid is an annual charity football match that pits England against the Rest of the World, held at Stamford Bridge.

This year, it was undefeated boxer Tommy Fury who provided the comedic highlight, prompting a hilarious reaction from none other than Mauricio Pochettino.

Tommy Fury, known for his prowess in the boxing ring, made his second appearance in the UNICEF charity game. Lining up on the right wing for England, Fury’s debut was anything but smooth.

Entering the game just before half-time, his first touch resulted in a complete mis-kick, leaving him sprawled on the turf.

However, it was his next move that secured his place in Soccer Aid’s history of memorable moments.

When the ball went out for a throw-in, Fury, sporting the number zero on his back, committed a blunder that had the crowd and his fellow players in stitches.

Instead of executing a proper throw-in, the heavyweight boxer rolled the ball back into play. This unconventional and illegal move prompted the referee to order a retake.

The real entertainment came from the sidelines. ITV cameras captured the immediate aftermath, focusing on the bench where Mauricio Pochettino, acting as one of the managers, was seated alongside assistant manager Robbie Keane.
