Atletico Madrid made it through to the last 8 of the UEFA Champions League after beating Inter Milan on penalties.
Inter took the lead through Federico Dimarco in the 33rd minute to give the Milan side a 2-0 aggregate lead.
The hosts responded straight away after Antoine Griezmann capitalised on a mistake from the Inter defenders to make it 1-1 on the night.
In the 86th minute with Atletico pushing, they finally got the breakthrough thanks to striker Memphis Depay who sent the tie into extra time.
Penalties eventually arrived and Oblak saved two, one from Alexis Sanchez and another from Davy Klassen.
Lautaro Martinez missed the crucial penalty which sealed Inter’s fate and sent them packing.
Atletico are now in the pot for Friday’s UCL draw.
The strangest incident of the night came from Inter striker Marcus Thuram who appeared to have grabbed the genitals of Atletico defender Stefan Savic.
We all know Savic is a wind-up merchant but it was a rather peculiar gesture from the Inter striker.
