Jurgen Klopp used ‘historic match’ as half-time motivation for players vs. Luton

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has compared his sides comeback victory against Luton to the one against Barcelona in the 2019 Champions League semi-final.

Irish forward Chiedozie Ogbene gave Luton Town a surprising lead in the 12th minute.

The Reds went in 0-1 down at half-time and Klopp has to change things around, giving the players a stern dressing room lecture and fuelling their motivation by bringing up the Barcelona match in 2019.

Whatever Jurgen Klopp said at the interval worked a treat, the Reds were soon to punish the Hatters with goals from Virgil van Dijk, Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz and Harvey Elliot.

The victory sends the Reds four points clear at the summit of the Premier League table.

The German boss who is set to leave the club at the end of the season after NINE magnificent years at Anfield compared last nights victory to that famous night against Barcelona in 2019.

Do you think Liverpool will go all the way and win the Premier League this season?
