One player who has captured the attention of Liverpool fans this pre-season is their striker Darwin Nunez.
For Nunez, last season was his first in English football and he didn’t quite make the hype people were expecting especially after the huge transfer fee from Benfica.
The Uruguayan forward’s stellar display and goal-scoring heroics during Liverpool’s 4-4 pre-season draw at Greuther Furth have left fans excited and hopeful looking towards the new Premier League season.
Darwin Nunez has played 90 minutes in pre-season so far for the reds, netting 3 goals along with an assist, also boasting a 100% shot on target rate.
