Declan Rice: Arsenal and Man United fight over West Ham stars’ signature

West Ham captain Declan Rice looks to be set to join Arsenal this summer as he relishes the prospect of working under Mikel Arteta.

Manchester United are also on the hunt for the Englishman and could potentially fight over his signature with rivals Arsenal.

Arteta has already drawn up plans for where the England star could fit into his team.

Also wanted by Chelsea, the 24-year-old is almost certain to leave West Ham United this summer despite his wage increase at the London Stadium.

Declan Rice was in Chelsea’s academy before being released at the age of 14 but a move back to Stamford Bridge could also be on the cards depending on what the contract terms are.

Arsenal have just signed Leandro Trossard from Brighton for £21m but they want to bring more strength in depth to the squad who currently sit 1st in the Premier League table, extending their lead on Manchester City.

West Ham will be hoping to fetch more than £100m for Rice but his contract is up in 2024 which means the Hammers may have to settle for a cute price of around £80m.

Where will Declan Rice end up this summer? Let us know!
