We all dream at some point or another in our childhood of bagging a hat-trick in our Premier League debut. Some of us may even have dreamt of achieving this faster than anybody else has done. Tottenham’s Son Heung-Min went out and did it.
Son Heung-Min of Tottenham Hotspur recently laid claim to the prestigous accolade of Fastest Premier League Hat-trick when Tottenham Hotspur met Leicester City…
Son Heung-Min made Premier League history on September 17th 2022 when he came off of the bench to score the fastest hat-trick in Premier League history – totalling just 13 mins and 21 secs!
Son came on as a sub and scored goals in the 73rd, 84th & 86th minutes of the game to aid Tottenham Hotspurs to a dominating victory of 6-2 over Leicester City!
His marvellous, record breaking effort stole the mantle from previous owner of 7 years Sadio Mane (16 minutes total time), who in turn stole it from Dwight Yorke, who held the title of Fastest Premier League Hat-trick for a whopping 14 years after his 22 minute effort helped Manchester United hand a Thierry Henry-era Arsenal (who would later go in to win the league that season) a devastating 6-1 defeat in 2001!
