Brentford vs West Ham : Kevin Nolan and Neal Maupay CLASH!

WATCH as Kevin Nolan and Neal Maupay clash in the tunnel as the two sides returned to the pitch for the second half of Brentford vs West Ham.

West Ham welcomed Brentford to the London Stadium yesterday evening in a Premier League matchup that ended up as a 6-goal thriller.

But it wasn’t the football that got fans attentions as the two sides came back out the tunnel for the second half…

The Hammers got off to a flying start, going 2-0 up through a Jarrod Bowen brace just 7 minutes in.

Brentford weren’t going to take anything lying down, however, and clinched a goal back via Neal Maupay just 5 minutes after Bowen bagged his second of the night.

The scoreline remained 2-1 until the half time whistle blew, and it would be Maupay who would be grabbing headlines before the second half had even managed to kick off.

Brentford’s French striker was spotted returning to the pitch in a fiery altercation with West Ham coach Kevin Nolan, as the pair made their way through the tunnel.

According to reports, Maupay was stood listening outside of the referee’s changing room during the halftime break.

This apparently incensed the West Ham coach, who made his feelings known as the teams prepared to begin the second half.

Despite Maupay seemingly getting a kick out of winning up Nolan, it would be West Ham who eventually had the last laugh of evening.

Bowen found the third instalment to complete his hat-trick at the 63-minute mark, with Emerson Palmieri following up just 6 minutes later to make it 4-1 to the home side.

Brentford found a consolation goal via Yoane Wissa in the 82nd minute, but it would ultimately be West Ham’s night during this London clash.

This is not the first time that Brentford’s Neal Maupay has managed to wind up his peers recently, with Man City’s Kyle Walker getting revenge on him for comments he made towards the defender’s family earlier this month!

Brentford vs West Hame ended up having a bit of everything – 6 goals for the neutrals, alongside a bit of a barmy off the pitch!
