David Beckham’s son RETIRES from football aged just 22, decides to pursue new career

Romeo Beckham, the son of former Manchester United star David Beckham, has retired from football to pursue a new career.

The 22-year-old had once played for Arsenal as a youngster but left the club to focus on Tennis before returning to the sport in 2020.

Upon his return, he played for Inter Miami II, the reserve club of Major League Soccer outfit Inter Miami, which is co-owned by his father.

He was handed his professional debut in a Major League Soccer clash with Toronto FC, featuring alongside Harvey Neville, son of Phil Neville, his father’s former teammate at Manchester United.

Beckham spent most of his time in the United States with Inter Miami II, registering two goals and 10 assists for the club before moving to Premier League side Brentford in January 2023.

He initially joined on loan but his move was made permanently that summer and has been on the books on the Bees since then before he recently decided to call it quits.

Beckham has signed up for an unknown Paris Fashion agency and it will be interesting to see if he becomes a star in the fashion industry just like his father did as a Footballer.

If you would recall, his father is also known as a fashion icon and has appeared on the covers of many magazines.
