West Ham United have signed Aston Villa striker Danny Ings for £15m.
West Ham have paid an initial £12m for the 30-year-old, which will rise to £15m if David Moyes’ side avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Ings joins on a deal that runs until 2025, he joined Aston Villa in August 2021 for £25m from Southampton.
The new Hammers’ striker has not started a league game this season since the World Cup but despite that he has still managed to bag himself 6 goals in the Premier League so far.
“I’m really pleased to add Danny to the squad,” manager David Moyes said. “He is a proven Premier League goalscorer and will add great competition for places in the attacking third.
