Cristiano Ronaldo’s turbulent season with United got worse tonight after he stormed off the pitch before the final whistle was blown.
Manchester United came out 2-0 winners against a lackluster Tottenham Hotspur side that looked like they came to avoid defeat.
Goals from Bruno Fernandes and Fred ensured the three points for the Red Devils, which leaves United sat 5th in the table only 1 point adrift of a Champions League spot.
But as usual, taking all the headlines was none other than Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, after he appeared to have stormed off the pitch and made his way down the tunnel before the referee called time.
Man United manager Erik ten Hag said after the game: “I will deal with that tomorrow, not today. We are celebrating this victory”.

Will Ronaldo still be a United player in January?
