BREAKING: Fikayo Tomori NOT included in England’s World Cup squad

AC Milan centre-back Fikayo Tomori has been LEFT OUT of Gareth Southgate’s 26-man England World Cup squad despite winning the Serie A with Milan and featuring in every match including the UEFA Champions League.

Southgate will decide his final squad later today but much criticism is expected due to Gareth Southgate’s defensive approach.

Now the real question is will Leicester City midfielder James Maddison find himself a seat on the plane to Qatar?

Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips made his return to the pitch last night after an injury setback which saw the midfielder sidelined for over a month.

Chelsea full-back Reece James looks like he’s not going to make fitness in time with the World Cup starting in just 10 days’ time.

Our main prediction: Who’s heading to Qatar?

Forwards: Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden, Mason Mount, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Bukayo Saka.

Midfielders: Declan Rice, Kalvin Phillips, Jude Bellingham, Jordan Henderson, Jack Grealish, James Maddison, James Ward-Prowse.

Defenders: Luke Shaw, Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker, Harry Maguire, John Stones, Eric Dier, Conor Coady.

Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope, Aaron Ramsdale.
