WATCH: Pep Guardiola brandished yellow card after the match and then hugs referee

Manchester City came from 0-1 down to beat German giants Borussia Dortmund 2-1 thanks to a late John Stones rocket and a sublime alien-like karate kick from none other than Erling Haaland.

But also making the headlines was Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola as he confronted the referee after the final whistle, this was due to a late challenge from Phil Foden which resulted in a little confrontation between Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham and Foden himself.

Pep kept shouting at the referee in a moment of rage before eventually receiving a booking for his actions. He then walks away and goes back to hug the referee in a bizzare moment before then shouting again.
