Watch Michael Olise’s strike that left Arsenal legend stunned and got fans talking.
Former Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise scored a mouth-watering goal in France’s Olympic team 7-0 victory over Dominican Republic on Thursday, a fixture played in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
In the 55th minute of the encounter, the new Bayern Munich forward struck a powerful effort with a volley past the Dominican Republic goalkeeper who was off his line.
The goal left Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, also the coach of the young French side, stunned and got fans talking on social media.
Olise had earlier scored the 4th goal for France and Henry will be hoping he can continue his rich vein of form heading to the Olympics.
The French youngsters have been grouped alongside the United States, Guinea and New Zealand with their first game being against the United States at the Marseille Stadium.
