Micah Richards has shared an hilarious and disgusting story about how he was pranked during his playing days with Manchester City.
The retired defender started his career with Leeds United before moving to Oldham Athletic, from where he would join Manchester City as a 14-year-old.
He played for the Citizens’ youth teams before gaining promotion to the first team in 2005, making his debut in a Premier League game against Arsenal at the Highbury Stadium.
Richards didn’t become a regular in the starting lineup until the following campaign when he made 34 appearances across all competitions.
He was linked with an exit from the club in 2006 but decided to extend his stay with Manchester City as he continued to be a vital player in the squad.
After some recurring injuries, he eventually lost his place to former Argentine defender Pablo Zabaleta which led to his exit from the club.
While he must have some notable memories to share, Richards recently shared his unforgettable experience during his stay with the Manchester-based club.
From his revelation, one of his teammates who he doesn’t know till date had dumped his feces in his car in an attempt to prank him.
“My car is stinking and I cannot find where it is coming from. I am not joking, I must have got my car washed 50 times, still the old stench.
One day, I got a flat Tyre, I pull the little flap up. It’s got all your tools in it. Underneath the tools, this poop had turned absolutely grey.
It was minging and still to this day, I don’t know who it was.” he told The Rest Is Football podcast.
He left Manchester City after a decade for Aston Villa in 2015, having won one Premier League title and one FA Cup.
