Manchester City crashed out of the UEFA Champions League last night after losing to Real Madrid on penalties.
The visitors took the lead first first thanks to Rodrygo in the 12th minute.
Man City dominated the match and they managed to level the tie in the 76th minute after Kevin De Bruyne smashed the ball into the roof of the net.
When penalties arrived, Julian Alvarez took the first and converted, Ederson then saved a penalty from Luka Modric.
Modric’s Croatian teammate Mateo Kovacic also had his penalty saved.
Up stepped a nervy Bernardo Silva who waited for the ball for what must have felt like such a long time, but the Manchester City fans were keeping the ball in the crowd which put extra pressure on the shoulders of the Portuguese star.
Real Madrid now advance to the Champions league semi-finals where they will meet Bayern Munich, who beat Arsenal 1-0 to advance.
The other semi-final consists of PSG and Borussia Dortmund for a place in the Champions League final at Wembley.
