Leonardo Bonucci is reportedly set to leave Juventus to join Bundesliga side Union Berlin, with the Italian centre back heading to the German capital earlier today. Bonucci has been with Italian giants Juventus since 2010, with the exception of a one-year stint with AC Milan for the 2017/2018 season following a falling out with manager Max Allegri, rejoining the side again in 2018. He has played over 500 matches for them, scoring 35 goals and being one part of the legendary trio that included his countrymen Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli, making his move to Berlin perhaps the most shocking of this transfer window. Football Italia also report that the centre back hasn't been training with Juventus' first team all summer. It is said that the 36-year-old Bonucci will sign a one-year deal with Union Berlin, seeing him playing in the Bundesliga until at least next summer. Leonardo Bonucci to Union Berlin, here we go!
