It took just 8 minutes for Nathaniel Chalobah to be dismissed from Fulham’s fixture with Newcastle United on the 1st of this month, on an afternoon that would only get worse for the London side.

The day ended with a 4-1 battering of Fulham’s 10-man squad, including 2 yellow cards, 1 red card, e one goal of the month contender! 

Chalobah’s nasty challenge on Newcastle’s Sean Longstaff was initially given a yellow card by referee Darren England – which was soon taken back and replaced with a red after the chief official was urged to check the challenge again by the VAR team.
