BREAKING: Pep Guardiola has AGREED a TWO-YEAR Man City contract extension

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has AGREED a TWO-YEAR contract extension, keeping him at the Etihad until 2025.

The Spaniard had plans during the World Cup to meet with the owners including Sheikh Mansour over in Abu Dhabi where he was spotted at the F1 Yas Marina circuit over the weekend.

The news comes as a relief to Manchester City fans who were hoping for some positive news.

Pep’s contract at City was initially going to end in the summer of 2023 but now he will remain at Manchester City until 2025.

The deal means he will have served 9 years at Manchester City once his contract ends which is longer than any other team he has managed.

Manchester City are currently sat in 2nd in the Premier League behind leaders Arsenal managed by Mikel Arteta.

Fantastic news for Man City fans, but not so much for rival clubs!
