Manchester United and Chelsea target Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters

Manchester United and Chelsea are among the list of clubs targeting highly-rated Southampton full-back Kyle Walker-Peters.

United have identified Walker-Peters, 25, as an ideal replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka who may be allowed to leave the club this month.

According to talkSPORT, Kyle Walker-Peters is pushing for a move away from St. Mary’s after stalling on new contract talks.

Chelsea are also very interested in acquiring the defenders’ services after Reece James suffered another injury setback, they are desperate for cover in the right back area.

There may also be a return on the cards for Walker-Peters as his former club Tottenham Hotspur are closely monitoring his situation.

The England international had a solid year in 2022, and he is hoping to build on that success, Southampton know they may face an uphill battle to retain his services.

That being said, a move elsewhere looks to be the most likely option for Kyle Walker-Peters.
