WATCH: When Joe Hart turned into ‘prime Usain Bolt’ to deny Rooney’s effort back in 2008

True Premier League fans will remember how good Joe Hart really was in his prime, but before he even reached the tender age of 21, he pulled off one of the most MIRACULOUS saves of his career.

It was the first Manchester derby since City’s HUGE financial takeover, unfortunately, the game did not go the way they wanted after Rooney slotted in his 100th club goal at the time sealing the Red Devils’ 0-1 win away at Eastlands.

City was pushing late on and was handed a late corner where Richard Dunne had his effort cleared off the line and then United broke on the counter…

Rooney hit an audacious halfway-line lob which was travelling fast toward Man City’s goal, a young Joe Hart channeled his inner Usain Bolt and sprinted as you have never seen before, he eventually rushed back and punched the ball backward just to the side of the post, footage of that GREAT SAVE is below. Enjoy!

Is this the GREATEST SAVE you have ever seen?
