Man United considering loaning out IMPRESSIVE young winger!

Reports have come in that Man United are considering loaning out their impressive young Uruguayan winger, Facundo Pellistri.

Pellistri, who finally got his debut with the Red Devils this year in an EFL Cup victory over Charlton Athletic, has only made 5 appearances for the club so far. He spent the entirety of last season, as well as the better part of the previous season in La Liga with Deportivo Alaves.

Despite struggling for game time since being back at United, Pellistri has made the most of his chances, giving impressive performances when called upon by Erik ten Hag. His debut against Charlton spurred a frenzy of support for the youngster, with his cheeky assist to Marcus Rashford and his overall energy when bought on being major talking points.

And it isn’t just folks at Old Trafford that have picked up on Pellistri’s performances – he has also been selected to represent Uruguay in their upcoming matches against Japan and South Korea. He made 2 appearances for his country in the recent Qatar World Cup which, along with his performances with United, have clearly made an impact.

It has now been reported by Manchester Evening News that Man United are prepared to loan out the impressive young attacker, possibly along with Swedish forward Antony Elanga for next season. It is hard to believe that the decision to loan Pellistri has been made due to disappointment in his performances, with many fans feeling that he should have been given more chances to prove himself.

The decision is more than likely a tactical/compassionate one from United’s chiefs. Loaning out an impressive developing talent to allow them to enjoy more game time isn’t unusual. It’s more than likely the case that Pellistri’s lack of game time in Man United’s star-studded squad is the reason for planning his temporary departure.

Given the chance to get more minutes in on the pitch will hopefully nurture Pellistri’s talents even further, and allow him to return to Old Trafford an even more developed member of the squad.

There have been no reports as to where United are considering sending him or Elanga, or for how long. Whatever the case, getting to see more game time from the impressive young forward can’t be a bad thing at all for football fans!
