Mikel Arteta and Eddie Howe CLASH on the touchline after late handball shout

Arsenal dropped a huge 2 points in the Premier League title race after Newcastle United frustrated the Gunners to a 0-0 draw.

Eddie Nketiah came close for the Gunners late on after his effort was denied by the strong legs of Nick Pope.

Arsenal had the chance to extend their lead to current champions Manchester City who play Chelsea on Thursday at Stamford Bridge.

The drama came right at the end of the game when Arsenal went up the pitch for one final attack but their attack ended in a handball claim after Arsenal run up to the referee begging for a penalty.

The referee was not having any of it and denied Arsenal the penalty, VAR backed the referee’s decision and did not feel the need to intervene but Mikel Arteta took it into his own hands…

The Spaniard came rushing out of his technical area to the touchline and approached Eddie Howe shouting verbals at him, Howe reacted and things got HEATED pretty quickly.
