At just 17 years-old, Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsi made history tonight against Napoli.
FC Barcelona managed to beat Italian side Napoli 3-1 (4-2 agg.) thanks to goals from Fermin Lopez, Joao Cancelo and Robert Lewandowski.
But the main talking point was all about the young Barca prodigy, 17 year-old Pau Cubarsi who had everyone talking after the match about his stellar peformance.
The teenage sensation becomes the youngest defender to ever represent Barcelona in the Champions League, a huge achievement!
Not only that, he managed to grab a UEFA Player of the Match award in the process.

With the likes of Carles Puyol, Gerard Pique, Pep Guardiola and many more, the pressure will be on the young man’s shoulders at just a tender age of 17, but he has shown already that he can take the pressure on the big stage.
FC Barcelona now reach the quarter-finals along with Arsenal who also won tonight, beating FC Porto on penalties.
