Josko Gvardiol’s proposed Man City move is OFF as he travels with Leipzig squad

RB Leipzig and Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol’s proposed move to Man City looks to have broken down according to Sky Sports News.

The 21-year-old was poised to join Manchester in a deal worth up to £90m according to top sports journalist Fabrizio Romano but it appears the deal is now OFF in a sudden twist.

Josko Gvardiol has been spotted stepping off a plane for RB Leipzig’s upcoming pre-season tour of Italy.

The Croatian defender made 30 appearances in the Bundesliga last season for Leipzig and also featured in their Champions League matches against Manchester City where he conceded 7 at the Etihad.

The young defender is one of the most highly sought footballers in the world right now, attracting interest from all of the top clubs in the world.

In recent developments, Sky Sports News suggest that the deal is ‘not close’ and he may ‘stay’ at RB Leipzig.

It remains to be seen whether Gvardiol will sign the dotted line and join Man City but for now he remains an RB Leipzig player with a job to do.
