Chelsea have signed 21 year old Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana for a world-record fee of £75m plus add-ons, meaning that the deal could potentially rise up to £88m and beyond!
This is the highest fee that Chelsea have ever paid for a defender – although it has to be said that Fofana is currently one of the hottest prospects in world football and could very well be worth every single penny. Only time will tell.
