WHAT do Robbie Savage and Gabriel Batitstuta have in common? They both retired on the exact same day. Way back in 2005.

This week in the middle of March has seen some incredible action over the years. Perhaps most significantly the first ever FA Cup was played this week. Although Fulham fans might not think that’s the most signifcant. Roy Hodgon’s men started their march to the 2010 UEFA Cup with an unforgettable win on 18 March.

Days after being knocked out of Europe Manchester United were crushed again. This time by their noisy neighbours.

Goals from Robbie Fowler, Jon Macken, Trevor Sinclair and Shaun Wright-Phillips secured a famous victory. It was only the third time Sir Alex Ferguson had lost to Manchester City.
